WGS84 Distance, Azimuth and Radius Calculator

You can use this calculator to calculate the distance and azimuths between 2 locations along the surface of the WGS84 reference ellipsoid (Elev = 0 is used), or you can use it to calculate the 2nd location providing distance and azimuth (Elev of 2nd location is retained). Azim2 is the azimuth angle measured in the same direction along the line between the 2 locations, but at the location 2.

The locations can be provided as latitude, longitude and elevation or as earth centered earth fixed (ECEF) cartesian coordinates as provided by GPS/GNSS receivers and published at Finding Survey Marks and Datasheets; National Geodetic Survey NOAA website.

The correctness of this calculator was veryfied with the WGS-84 World Geodetic System Distance Calculator.

This calculator is based on my WGS84 JavaScript Module. For references to the used constants and equations see the links in the source code of this module.

The JavaScript source code of this calculator can be found at Code: WGS84 Distance, Azimuth and Radius Calculator.
